Wellbeing/Outdoor Learning
At St Andrew’s Major, learning isn’t just in the classroom. Our pupils enjoy regular outdoor learning on our school grounds and in local community spaces, helping them explore the world around them. Outdoor learning supports wellbeing, confidence, teamwork, creativity, and curiosity, giving children opportunities to learn through enquiry, hands-on activities, and practical experiences. We also have regular wellbeing days every week, giving pupils dedicated time to reflect, explore, and enjoy being outside.
Our beautiful grounds and community spaces allow children to develop a love of learning, a sense of place, and strong connections to their community. Outdoor learning at St Andrew’s Major inspires awe and wonder, fosters creativity and wellbeing, and helps every child to Respect, Believe and Achieve.
