After a very emotional week I just wanted to pop on and say a massive thank you to the pupils, staff, parents and wider community for your cards, gifts and messages received this week - it has been truly humbling and overwhelming. St Andrews Major school has been in my life longer than the 24 years I've worked here as my boys also attended the school - the eldest starting in 1999! It has been such a privilege watching all the children I have seen coming through the school growing up, some returning as parents and some as staff! St Andrews will continue to hold a special place in my heart and I will continue to work with the governing body so I'm sure will see many of you in the future. Have a fabulous summer and God bless you all
