STAND UP TO BULLYING WEBSITE!

posted 9 Feb 2012 07:53 by D Mottram   [ updated 9 Feb 2012 14:30 ]

The Vale of Glamorgan Council have recently launched their 'Stand Up to Bullying' website.

Nearly everyone is bullied at some time in their lives: by brothers and sisters, by neighbours, by adults or by other children. If you are being bullied, you may feel scared, vulnerable and quite alone but you owe it to yourself to try and sort out the situation so that the bullying stops.

Remember, no-one deserves to be bullied

Christmas Carol Concert

posted 13 Dec 2011 11:31 by A James   [ updated 15 Dec 2011 03:09 ]

Over 100 children attended last night’s ‘Carols by candlelight’ service in St Peter’s Church. The service began with performances by our instrumentalists with violin, recorder and flute and included carols sung by the choir (including year 2) and all children in Key Stage 2. The service included bible readings and prayers written by the children.

Thank you to Mrs Walker for organising the musical items, choir and carols and for Mr Mottram and the Key Stage Two team for other aspects of the service.
We would like to thank families and memebers of the church for their tremendous support for last night’s service filling St Peter’s to bursting point!!

Your are warmly invited to join us this Sunday (9 October) at St Andrews Major Church at 10.30 am for Harvest Festival.

In each class the children have been preparing for this so we hope as many families as possible can be there. The choir have been rehearsing an item so Mrs Walker hopes as many members can come along too. Please can all children wear smart school uniform.

We are very grateful for the many ‘Food bank’ items that you have brought so far. If you haven’t had a chance yet, and would like to contribute, please bring items this Sunday to the service.

Thank you.
